El Espacio Deportivo de Desarrollo Integral (EDDI) Polídromo se concibe como un prototipo de contenedor de actividades sociales abierto a la comunidad, respondiendo con soluciones razonables a la necesidad de espacios deportivos y lúdicos que cada comunidad demanda. Además, busca mejorar el entorno a través de una arquitectura oportuna. La idea principal se fundamenta en entender el revestimiento del programa polideportivo como un espacio que, más allá de ser solo un cerramiento en fachadas y cubierta, se convierte en una mediación entre el exterior e interior, ofreciendo todas las posibilidades de adaptación al contexto que un prototipo requiere. La cubierta espacial, además de proteger contra la lluvia y aprovechar la iluminación natural filtrada, facilita la ventilación pasiva del gran espacio. Por otro lado, la fachada espacial, además de proteger la placa polideportiva del impacto directo del sol y permitir el desarrollo adecuado de las actividades especializadas en el interior, se convierte en franjas de actividad donde la comunidad complementa las actividades corporales formales con actividades lúdicas y deportivas informales.

The Integral Development Sports Space (EDDI) Polídrome is conceived as a prototype of a social activity container open to the community, responding with reasonable solutions to the need for sports and recreational spaces that every community demands. Additionally, it aims to enhance the environment through timely architecture. The main idea is based on understanding the cladding of the sports program as a space that, beyond being merely enclosure on both facades and roof, becomes a mediation between exterior and interior, offering all the possibilities of adaptation to the context that a prototype requires. The spatial roof, besides protecting against rain and harnessing filtered natural light, facilitates passive ventilation of the large space. On the other hand, the spatial facade, besides shielding the sports plate from direct sun impact and enabling the proper development of specialized activities indoors, becomes activity strips where the community complements formal bodily activities with informal recreational and sports activities.
