El Prototipo POLI-DROMO se concibe como un contenedor de actividades sociales abierto a la comunidad, el cual responde a base de soluciones razonables a la necesidad de espacio deportivo y lúdico que demanda cada comunidad, y que además apuesta por la mejora del entorno a través de una arquitectura oportuna.

La idea principal se fundamenta en el entendimiento del revestimiento del programa polideportivo como espacio, que mas allá de ser solo cerramiento tanto en fachadas como en cubierta, se convierte en mediación entre exterior e interior, brindando todas las posibilidades de adaptación al contexto que un prototipo requiere. La cubierta espacial, además de proteger de la lluvia, aprovecha la iluminación natural filtrada y facilita la ventilación pasiva del gran espacio; y la fachada espacial, además de proteger la placa polideportiva del impacto del sol directo permitiendo el desarrollo correcto de las actividades especializadas al interior, se convierten en franjas de actividad donde la comunidad complementa las actividades corporales formales con actividades lúdicas y deportivas informales.

The POLI-DROMO Prototype is conceived as a container of social activities open to the community, which responds based on reasonable solutions to the need for sports and recreational space that each community demands, and which also supports the improvement of the environment through of a timely architecture.

The main idea is based on the understanding of the cladding of the sports center program as a space, which beyond being just an enclosure both on the facades and on the roof, becomes a mediation between exterior and interior, offering all the possibilities of adaptation to the context that a prototype required. The space cover, in addition to protecting the rain, taking advantage of filtered natural lighting and facilitating passive ventilation of the large space; and the spatial façade, in addition to protecting the sports hall from the impact of direct sun allowing the proper development of specialized activities indoors, are used in activity strips where the community complements formal body activities with informal sports and leisure activities.
